well when you said loach i was thinking clowns or maybe khuli or possible zebra or maybe yoyo or kubotai or .... but instead all we get is an alien

Hillstream loaches are so cool. I sometimes dream of doing a Northern India/Nepal foothills biotope just so I can have some. I'm always intrigued by fish that don't look like fish. (Zipper loaches rank high on the list, too)

I like kuhli myself; my problem with hillstream is they prefer cooler waters and since our home gets a bit warm during the summer i tend to stick with those that prefer warmer regions.
