Loach

Hi All,

I'm looking for a Candy Strip Loach - to eat my snails

I live in Leicester - anyone know of a shop that sells them?

I'm assuming you mean Botia (or whatever it's called now..) Striata? They can be a bit awkward to find, see if your lfs can buy you some in. If not, Trimar sells them.

Hi,

Loaches do better in groups of 3+ if you only get one it will hide all the time and be miserable. Botia striata tend to be seasonal round where i live anyway. You don't see them for ages then they are 3 for £10 and all the shops have them.

Thanks for the advice - i'll keep a look out for them. Think i may have to ring a few shops up.
