Hi

I am living in Spain and brought our jewel900? fish tank with us, we have set it up put water in and all the chemicals (we think) or the Spanish equivilent. But the weather is so hot that the tank just keep going green. Do you have any advise on what we can do?

Cheers

Yvonne

What is the water temperature, stats, and is the tank positioned in direct sun light?

Welcome to the forum Yvonne.
A green water problem is usually the result of too much light hitting the tank. I try to grow the stuff for feeding daphnia, which in turn feed my fish but I can only get it to grow well in an outdoor tub. My fish room doesn't get direct sunlight and I don't have enough artificial light to turn a tank green no matter how hard I try. The warm temperatures will need to be dealt with before you get any fish. What is the water temperature running in your tank?
