Live Mosquito Larve

Theres a bucket of water in my garden thats been there for months and i just noticed its got mostquitos on it and theres loads of larvae in it, do you think they would be safe as fish food?

possibly, but only if you could catch some and keep them in clean water for a while their guts first... but even then, frozen is probably better.

Yeah i have frozen but i was just interested to see what people thought, was just worried about contamination really, i probably wont use them as i have no need but i was just curious.

hi yeah its the only thing my rams will eat, no problems at all

Midge Larvae (UK) Yes excellent food. Rinse well in a net first.
Use them all the time in summer months.
