Live Blood Worm

when you buy live blood worm it comes in a sealed bag of water.can you put the water from the bag in your tank too??

I don't know if you can or not but I don't, I use a small sieve and empty them through it over the sink to remove the water. You do not know what else is within the water so that's why I don't.

thats what i thought id do i was gonna ask at lfs but they dont know **** and i never trust them anyway.

definatly don't put the water from the bag into your tank . just empty the bag contents into your net and pour water over the top of the worms, then put them in the tank.. the water is really dirty, and would just polute your tank!

Yeah never put that water in your tank, have you ever smelt it?

also be careful handling teh bloodworms, as some people are allergic to them!!

Oops, i always though the water in the bags with the bloodworm was full of nutrients . At least i know not to add it now.
