wow you will probably think im an idiot but i have just witnessed my guppy giving birth. It was amazing . Shes still popping them out be back later :

do you have anything in the tank that might eat the babies?

Hi Jessie, I have been wondering this about guppies.......I have one that only had 13 fry, but she still looks as if she is carrying a load! Did yours have them right after the others or was there quite a bit of time in between?

yes there was a bit of time difference. Shed swim around and dodge the frisky males then go back in the corner and pop one out. i think shes finished now ,and most ,if not all of them swam straight up to the floating plants to hide. They are sooooo cute.
