Little Concerned

Ive had my cichlids for about 3 months now and every thing has been perfect. But now im not too sure my male yellow lab looks odd his colers are becoming like a dirty yellow mixed with black it's not too dark but it doesnt seem right and he looks like he has something stuch in his mouth the bottem of his mouth is kinda sticking out. whats wrong with him? water perameters are fine.

looks like he put something in his mouth that he cant spit out or swallow. i think i can take somr pics if that woud help but im not grat at taking pics.

Is "he" still eating? if he aint I think your male lab might not be so male!!! Are you positive its male, although it may have black pectoral fins this does not mean it is automatically male. I found this out myself when one of the fish I thought was a male started holding.

after looking at the fish again i cant understand why it is female........The back fin has a black strip and the top is real dark and it acts like a dominant male.....but if you guys/girls say so you are the experts. If the case is a holding female what do i do if i want to keep some of the fry? Im clueless in that subject.
