it sounds like someone has researchedfish keeping and seen what fish keepers want and made a special bottle of stuff (probably just mucky water)

Some of those things go against eachother though.... removes phosophates... improves plant growth.... NPK. As far as I am aware plants need some phos... thats why you dose it in EI. Not a lot, but I don't see why removing it would increase plant grown, or make plants look better since you are removing a macro nutrient...

They are basically just saying, "Buy this!!!!"

We have gotten along fine without it..... its probably as helpful as snakeoil

Beneficial, but I highly doubt it works at that price. Absolute wonder cure to all fish problems? Why is it cheaper than a RO unit?

..Im trying to ignore all the claims and just try to work out how a liquid filter medium would stay in the filter and not get washed out with the water....?

I recon the bottle label is a bad translation of chinese and should read "liquid filter support" or "starter" or something. Like Cycle and all those others are.
