Limia Nigrofasciata -now With Fry Pics

i got them 29th October and they were juveys 5 females and 2 males all rather dull colouring

first time in tank

after 12 hours in the tank

now 8 weeks later

my handsome boys

2 of my pretty girls (ignore the poo lol)

i have the standard lighting that came with the aquaone 620t - which is where the limias are kept and also no CO2 in that tank either
all it gets is a fortnightly dose of tetra plantamin or tetrapond plantamin depending which i have at the time (the pond one lasts longer as is more concentrated)

dead leaves on the plant in the first of the girls pic are left for my amanos lol they love them and clear them up in a couple of days

all are fed fortnightly on plantmin

the juwel rekord 60 has standard light and has nutrafin co2 with yeast mix
clearseal hex - standard lights - nutrafin co2 with yeast mix
the rio 180 has 2xt8 tubes on standard light fittings no co2

thanks helter - the boys are starting to look fantastic and i love the red thats showing on the top fins

i havent had any babies not yet but one of my females - (i couldn't get her pic) - is nicely squared off and has a huge gravid area along her back and both sides , so i'd say she's due in the next week or so

hopefully i'll see and manage to save some of the babies
