Since my eel died I have decided to get some fish to eat my brown rust. In my reaserch I found this Brackish water Limia. I have contacted my fish stores in my area and my parents area. And have been told they have never seen or heard of this live-bearer in their order sheets.

Any ideas or maybe even a website to possibly order these little guys.

Thanks in Advance

M

I did a search but if someone could redirect me :good:

Where are you from as i believe their are some in the UK. Joining a club will help locate unusual fish

In the US, you could try joining the American Livebearer Association and begin working with that group. I am a member of the association and have found the annual association convention is a great place to find rare or hard to find livebearers. I would assume that it is much the same with the BLA if you were in the UK. The ALA convention this year is in Detroit, so not too far for you or me, in April. The convention information is located here. I enjoy this forum for general interest but use both the BLA and ALA forums for specialist information. Both are very slow moving sites with almost no new posts on a given day, but the specialized information is often quite good in areas that we never seem to see here.
