Lily Pipes

I have a 200 litre tank that is currently being over-filtered with an ex1200, but even so the water doesn't circulate properly.

I figure that a good way to improve circulation would be to fit a lily pipe as the filter output - but I haven't the faintest idea of how a glass pipe would be attached to the outflow pipe from the filter.... are there special adaptors?

Is there another way to achieve full circulation without the expense of a lily pipe?

I do currently have a spray bar that extends about 3/4 of the length of the tank, but this moves the plants around a lot and yet still leaves dead spots where water flow simply doesn't happen properly. Because of the different 'currents' across the tank there is often small particles in the water which I would like to eliminate - they simply don't get carried up into the filter.

Have you tried installing a powerhead?
