I've seen this before, and i wonder how bettas can live in it for more than a few hours. Why is there a earphone plugged intot eh betta thing when you can hear music from it?

I think the earphone thing is suposed to make it look more realistic. I love how they have a betta that looks all happy when your would probably never see a betta that happy in that tiny tank...

its not to make it look realistic. it actually DOES have a speaker in the bottom, and is designed to plug into an mp3 player or similar. its called an ipond. and its a horrendous idea

Because that IS widely regarded as the minimum... the minimum proposed by us is just what a bunch of animal-liberationist w**kers go around saying. It's totally unnecessary because a betta CAN, actually, survive in a puddle of its own urine. It might only last a month or two - but hey, they're only a few dollars, and you'd get sick of having one the same colour anyway!

I think I'm going to shut up now before I post enough swear words to get myself banned.
