Hi all

looking for advice. I have the All Ponds Solution cabinet tank. 3 x T5 lights built into the hood. 2 on 1 switch and one on the other. the two lights on same switch have gone out. Tried changing bulbs around. There is no fuse.

Any advice?

Does the hood need replacing? or just the switch? Or the ballast?
Given that the filtration is in the hood, am I looking at a whole new set-up?

Are new lighting options easy to fit into old hoods and tight spaces?

Does your tank have a particular model name or number please? It's also interesting you say the filtration is in the hood! There's a lot of stuff going on in that hood!

The model number is HRX1000. I think the manufacturer was sunsun. Though mine is branded All Ponds Solutions.

The hood houses two spray bars over a trickle filter. The pumps for the spray bars are attached to brackets on the hood. So the Hood really is the heart of the tank :(

Someone on another forum has suggested it might be the ballast. I have no idea how to get to this though
