Ok so i got recommeneded to buy a t5 light for my fish tank, but is this a light or a lightbulb?

My tank is a 90 litre (3 ft) with a sand substrate whith 4 cories, 8 neon tetras, 8 harelquins and a gibbicus if it makes any difference lol

And can all lights run all light bulbs or is it manufacture specific? And also i've got Java moss so what would be the best light for it?

The T5 is the type of bulb, but you will need a T5 ballast as you need the same ballast as the bulb type. Some are manufacture specific, light fluvals aqua glo

can anyone tell me what would be the best and cheapest light for my cultures, they need to grow the alagae as best they can, basically a replacement sun lol
