Okay I have a stock fixture right now, and would like to know if I get a 65 watt light for my 29 gallon tank would that be enough for some soft corals like polyps and mushrooms. If not what can I keep in the tank; I only have a 3 striped damsel at the moment.

Thanx for the help

your gonna have to say what kalvin the bulbs are and what type of lighting i.e metal halide, T5 lighting, T8 lgihting, Very High Output

With a single PC bulb you can keep softies and polyps no problem. Upgrade to two PC bulbs if you want to keep LPS :)

Sweet all i really wanted are softies whats a LPS

LPS stands for large polyped stony. Most LPS are moderate as far as requirements go. Common names include Torch, Frogspawn, Galaxea, Hammer, Bubble, Brain, Open Brain, Favites Brain. More difficult LPS include Blastomussa, Acanthestrea, Echinophylla, and the exceptionally difficult elegance coral.

Thanx soo much you've been a great help and for putting up with all my questions
