Well i don't know anything technical but to make it simple it doesn't work but when i put the filter in that plug the filter works so i'm sure its the light.

P.S Do bronze corys get pregnant if you don't condition them or anything as mine looks very fat or could it just be shes a pig?

Thankies :good:

I would check the connections between the starter and the tube, make sure that everything is in place. Also how old is the tube?

Also about the corydoras these ideally need an influx of colder water to bring on spawning behaviour, I suspect that she is just well fed.

The tank range was launched in 2006 so it is quite possible that the tube has blown (they usually only last around a year). Try www.aquatics-online.co.uk for a replacement. If this doesn't work then the problem must be with the starter.

Try and get yourself a new starter as well, they are only a couple of quid each at most and it's a good idea to keep a spare or two :good:

The starter unit on the aquaart tanks is fused in place, you can't remove it or replace it. You have the right tube and I would replace this first. If this fails you may have to contact Tetra and order a new hood, this could cost around £30.

Starters are small units that produce an electrical charge to jump start the tube.

Okaii i'll just get the new tube. My dad said it is the tube that is bad as he has thios test kit thingy and he tests it to see if the electricity is getting through oir something.

It is most likely the tube, also if it has blown it may have a black tinge to it.
