Lids

ive just aquired a 39x15x15 tank but it has no lid or lights!

can any one sugest how i could a) make one or b)where i could buy one

A good LFS should be able to make you a glass lid or order you a lid with the dimensions you need.

Then you can just place whatever lighting you choose ontop of the glass.

You can go on line to places like Dr Foster Smith or one of the similar ones and buy 6 ft pieces of hinge for the glass and 6 ft pieces of the plastic back strip for a glass lid. Then all you need to do is go to a local glass shop and have them cut a piece to fit the space you want. If your t5ank is a standard size where you live, you might even find a glass top at the LFS. I got my last piece of back strip[ from my LFS because they happened to have some that they could sell in bulk.
