i dont think people will just destroy merchendise. merchendise costs money, and people dont just go around throwing money away

i destoryed merchendise all the time working for a chrystler parts department..... the cost of stock siting on a shelf can sometimes be more than the item itself costs..... maybe the petshop is looking at it like that. im not saying its right. just figured id point that out.... nice job saving a betta! i try to do the same thing whn i can....thats why i have 2 sick bettas im housing now. what kind of betta is it?

EDIT: oops saw you said he was a veil tail... how about coloration?

I'm glad you have a fish that you like. And I'm glad you didn't pay for it.

But folks, let's remember - you are encouraging a store to continue the same practices when you buy a fish to "save" it and don't tell the people there why you are taking it, and why you will NOT be spending any more money at their store., you are perpetuiating the problem. Make sure you make your wallet speak and your voice heard, or you aren't really helping anyone.
