I have finally found an lfs that will sell dwarf gouramis as individuals and NOT only as pairs! After the advice I've recieved on here, I've decided to stick with my plan to house mainly dwarf gouramis in my 190L corner tank. There may be a few other small fish (ottos, albino cories) in there as well, but really want the dwarf gouramis as my main attraction.
So, as suggested, I'm going to add female dwarf g's first, picked up two this afternoon and will add two at a time over the next few weeks until I have 6 females. Then I'll get two males, rearange the tank to how I finally want it and see how things go. Waiting now on some more plants to fill the tank out a bit more and can't wait for it to be as I finally want it.
