an lfs in leicester has closed down, it wasnt the best shop and ive never bought anything stock wise from there but the owner has taken some of his stock home after the closure. after speaking to him today he has left plenty of medications and treatments, plenty of dry food, a few light balasts/starters and tubes, a few small tanks (brand new) and most of his display tanks (obviously used) and possibly more bits and bobs. ive got his phone number and may well end up seeing him now and then as he is working where i work now.
price wise from what i could remember the light starters are going for £10 and the small new tanks also £10, im sure he would do a good deal on the food and meds etc to try and recoup some cash back.
if anyone is interested i can find out exactly what he has or can ask him for a certain item you require to see if he has any. its a shame another lfs has to close but im sure some of us could benefit from it by getting cheap goods, even if its just a tub of food. also we at the same time are helping him get some of his money back for his stock, we both are happy
im not going to give his number out as he hasnt said if he wants me too or not, ill ask him when i see him if i can do this. i dont think its for me to decide on that....
