First off, I have owned many mollies in the past and I do know how to sex them and breed them. But here is the thing that got me to scratch my head and say "ummmm".
A couple of days ago I went ahead and bought to female mollies. Beauties. Well everything went well and I really did confirm that two were females because I already and 1 male. They're all matured and ready to breed. Well today I was observing my tank to check on the two females and one of them developed a "G". Come on now. I know I sexed them right. I KNOW I DID. So I did research and came across sex changes for mollies. But I am still giving the benefit of the doubt maybe I sexed one of them wrong. But like I said I KNOW I read them right and they are both matured when I bought them.
Am I getting something wrong here or do sex changes actually happen..... Or one of them was a late bloomer?

a gonopodium can take weeks to develop and not within a couple of days.
I think you  sexed one of them wrong there are many myths about sex changes in Livebearers .
i have not yet seen any of mine sex change i'd believe it when i  see it for my self  just late bloomers

No. I know we bought two females. There were two sets of eyes making sure.... they both were fanning their anal fins.

Fish48 is not saying you misidentified the fish when you saw it - he's saying that the fish was always male, it's just that the gonopodium developed after you had bought him. I had a Limia fry at one point that only developed his gonopodium when 10 months old.
