A Quote from Aquarium Design Group in Facebook...

We have received many emails and messages today from concerned customers about Aqua Design Amano HQ in Niigata, Japan after the earthquake strike. We would like you all to know that everyone at ADA is okay! They reported only "a few drops of water" as a result of the earthquake. Fortunately all of the aquariums and stands built by ADA are designed to be resistant to earthquake tremors, resulting in no damage.

While we know that Amano and his crew are ok, there are many along the Pacific Ring of Fire (hotbed for earthquakes and tsunamis) who are also avid scapers. Let's keep them in our thoughts.

We'll keep this thread open for others to post updates and for our members from those regions to let us know they are ok.

Thoughts go out to our fellow aquascapers, the ADA gallery is shut at present. There are some very talented scapers from all over Japan. Lets hope things are OK.

They're in my thoughts too. My best friend lives in niigata, where the second quake hit, she's ok though. Today i've been extremely glad to live in the internet age, forums like this, facebook and twitter seem to be the only way of getting in contact with loved ones in the effected area. I hope any forum members there stay safe.
