Lemon Cichlids

Hey
saw these fish in a tropical fish book i have, they're really nice looking fish, i was thinking about getting 2 for my tank (see signiture for tank size and fish i already have)
does anyone have experience of these fish?

Hi there,

If the fish you are talking about is Neolamprologus leleupi, then these are African cichlids from Lake Tanganyika. Best if you ask in that forum instead, my own thoughts are that they are unlikely to be suitable for inclusion with your current tank inhabitants (they are aggresive amongst themselves and you're best off with tanks in excess of 100cm for these guys).

i used to have some theyre lovely and friendly, nice colours too, my friend keeps them with s.a cichlids.
