Lego Tank Decor

Do you think lego could be used to make tank decor - eg caves, houses and infact anything you want!

Not that i am going to use it as at the moment i've not got a tank project on the go other than my 2 that are fully decorated.

I assume that you would have to use aquarium safe adhesive etc but what im really wondering is, is the lego safe?

Any fun ideas that you guys have for cool lego tank layouts?

Anything from a house to a full blown city!

Super glue would work, but getting the lego to sink is a whole different story.

You have to soak the Lego in water for a while to get ALL the trapped air out otherwise it just wont work, also the corners are quite sharp, if any of the fish start Drag Racing it could get cut on the corners.

Lego isn't porous, soaking it won't get any more air out, but you will need to build it underwater to make sure there's no air in it that'll make it float.

Thats awesome and looking at the other thread. I have one question,

When building it underwater water wouldnt the water trapped between the blocks go stale??

I'm pretty sure legos dont fit together tight enough to form a water-tight seal, so the water would be changing on the insides I think/

Think you are right, and was thinking the same. Just wanted to make sure.
