Leaf fish

hey, i spoke to the boss at the lfs and he said hed get me a leaf fish if i wanted but said they r difficult to keep. How delicate are they then, has anyone hear had much luck with them?? I use RO so my water is good. Cheers.

Ive kept them without much luck. They are very fussy feeders that usually only eat live fish and require soft acidic water to thrive (shouldnt be a problem with R/O water). They are definately best suited to a species only tank as they are easily bullied and frightened by fish that are too large to eat.

o right, well im only gona use RO bt in my area the water is hard which is a problem. Feeding live foods is not a problem though. I think il ave ago, will b a challenge!
