I have a platy with finrot who's been ill for the last 2 weeks.
He seems to get better then worse and i'm now on my 2nd course of esha 2000 with salt baths. All of the other fish recovered quickly but he had it bad and now his tail has a huge split that nearly reaches the base. He's not eating and he's hiding behind the filter or resting on the floor. Every time i've had a fish on the floor it died, so i don't think there's much i can do, but does anyone know some way he could be saved?
Water stats are amm. 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 15 ph 7
Thanks!

Is he sitll in with the others or on his own?

You're sure it's Finrot?

Still with others- i don't have a QT till i've set up my new 64L tank

Definately finrot, he has the classic cloudy white and ragged fin edges. I think it might've gone internal because he was spitting food out and isn't eating anymore.
