Large Water Change

i'm going on vacation for 10-12 days i have someone coming to take care of my tanks. She is going to be doing water changes on the 3 smaller ones. But i wanted to do a large water change on my 55 gal. so she didn't have to change it's water. I normally do 35% water changes but i was thinking of doing a 50% water change. Is this OK to do?

even at your old 35% the fish would be fine but yea you can do 50% without having to worry and i suppose it gives you peace of mind on holiday.
