HI,
a friend of mine is moving to a flat on the first floor, he has a big juwel corner tank, not sure of the size but its about 350-400 ltrs.
anyone have any advice or if its possible to put a tank up there?

thanks

structural engineer is the only person that can tell you ;)

people will tell you its the weight of x fat men (no offence to over weight) or a bath full of water. a fat man is not a permanent load. and baths are re-enforced and are not a permanent placement such as a tank. careful placement across joists and also a structural engineer will keep you happy. an engineer is cheaper than a new ceiling and joists etc, for such a big piece of mind.
