Large Marine Reef Setup

Oh no! Another straw to grasp!

There is no aggressive or predatory behaviour whatsoever from the Trigger or Angels? As you may see from my stocking list, I have ignored and broken "every rule in the book" regarding Tetraodonts and their tank mates, and it has worked incredibly well, with a barely detectable amount of aggression and no predation (excepting my "sacrifice" to my Pinktail - he ate two of the original four shrimp when he was starving to death - that got him eating again  ).

Hmm.. I may have to, once again, revise my future stocking plans. Your tank looks great, too, by the way.

Ive broken every rule in the book as well with my cichlid/tropical tankmates, Ive taken lots of crap for it too on these here boards. People just cant seem to think outside of their little boxes and rule books for one sec to realize that just because its unconventional dosent mean it cant work!!!!

thanks for the kind words guy's.

the lighting is 3 x 400 watt metal halides with a few atinic strip lights, theres no aggresive issues with the trigger or Angels, and the puffer is very tame and as long as he's feed well seems happy to live in a reef setup, he's never damaged any coral. i did have a large yellow mask tang that did get very aggressive without any warning or obvious reason and out right killed a salfin tang that he had lived with for a few years, i managed to net the salfin and put her in another tank but she died the next day. i removed the mask and he now lives in a local shop in there huge sump along with a few other large agressive fish

some of our fish have been with us for years, the large Regal tang we bought at 1 inch long around 7 yrs ago, he's now about 7 inches and fat, the malu nem and clown is around 6yrs, yellow tangs 5yrs, fox face 3yrs.

the Emperor Angel we rescued about a year ago, he was in a 2 foot tank with 2 large tomato clowns, they ripped him to shreads. a great chunk was missing from his face and his dorsal fin was totaly gone. he lived in our sump for a few months and got him feeding before adding him to the maintank. he's now 99% recovered his face has healed and his fin is almost fully re grown and he's around 20% bigger and seems unafected by his past.
