hi

I got two Large Albino Oscar early today but thay are not feeding at all ???

I had to save them thay were in a pet shop in a VERY LITTLE TANK when i say very little i mean very little about 40ltr tanks one in each :( :( next door to each other

what research them first they are in my 470ltr tank but i have a sliver sand bottom i am thinking of changing it to 1-2mmm gravel but not made up my mind yet ?

would sand or 1-2mm gravel be better for them as i am hovering the sand ever day ?

thay are great LOOKING fish cant beleave some one let them go :(

just found my phone lead add photos very sooon !

tbh you would be best off replacing the sand with gravel as with 2 very messy oscars and a large pleco the sand will be impossible to keep clean,

I'd also get rid f the ocean rock, this will buffer the ph and hardness at high levels which isn't real ideal for south american cichlids,
it is also fairly rough which can sometimes leave larger fish with the odd cuts and scrapes which can lead to infections,

Not to mention it will give them more swimming space which will become essential as they continue to grow, (still look quite small atm)
