I am selling my much loved fish tank. It has been well cared for. I would keep it if I had room.

Hello Michelleuk,
I noticed two notches cut out on the back rim of the tank in your photos , I take it that these are cut outs for hoses of your external filter. What I would like to know is if these would match mine. I use a Fluval 205 external filtration system with an 18mm diameter hose, could you tell me approximately how big your hoses are? I just need to know if the lid on the tank would shut tight with the cut outs and my filter/hoses assembled together . Could you also advise on the state of the tank's glass surface too? Does it have any scratches? How long have you had it for etc.

Hi

The two gaps at the back are a manufacure design. They are to allow the external filter tubes to not interfere with the lid. The lid lays flat.

I not sure how long the tubes are on my filter as it currently in use and not easy to measure. I can tell you though, the tank is 1m 27cm high. The filter can fit either side of the tank.

The tanks in a very good condition apart from a scratch (which could just be a mark) on the back, which I only noticed when I removed the backround.
