Hi everyone :)

Well i was helping my nan with her cleaning job and i walked into the businesses's owners office and saw a large dirty fish tank. No-one is around when we clean the offices so i decided i was going to give it a good clean. Next day i took my water change equipment and a good algae scrubber and give the tank a good clean. Was sparkling afterwards and today when i went in i found a letter addressed to my nan saying thanks for cleaning the tank (!) with a £10 note inside :D

He also asked me if i could carry on maintaining it for him and asked me what fish he could put in.

It's a 48"x15"x15" i think so not a bad size and homes a medium sized silver dollar and a smaller one, one swordtail and one black molly.

I think the tank is two small for the silver dollars when fully grown (Right or wrong?) and the molly needs salt? I know he likes neons so i was thinking of planning on a community tank but he wants something interesting thats going to be out in the open swimming around alot... Any suggestions? I will ask if he would consider rehoming the silver dollars first, or doesn't he have to?

Thanks Dan

I like the african cichlid idea, but that may require more in depth involvement than a peaceful community tank
