Lamanated Background

can some one tell me if this is true i was taking to this guy last night and he told me u can
put lamanted background (soz if thats spelled worng ) on the inside of your tank is this true
and is it safe he allso said all i need to do is buy some stickers from a fish shop or some where
like ebay hope some one can help thanx

no, the glue from the stickers would leak off into the water. you can paint a backround on the back of your tank on the outside.

Not exactly true. You can buy special aquarium background stickers, designed to go on the INSIDE of the tank, which I use and are safe and my fish are fine

I have always used aquarium sealent and put my backing on the inside of my tank. I just use a very thin layer all round so the fish can't get behind it. I think it looks better and have never had any trouble, also find it quite easy to remove it without taking off any of the tanks sealent. Just make sure you use a backing you can live with cos you don't want to be changing it all the time, I just use a plain blue one.
