I'm currently upgrading to a Juwel Trigon 190 in the next week or so, that's coming from a 90 litre aquarium.

Baring in mind the 'large' footprint of the trigon how does this stocking list sound?

(I'm sorry i'm not sure of all the full names)

2 x Compressiceps (gold head)
4 x Brevis
1 x Brichardi
1 x Leleupi
1 x Julicriptus?

Could I afford to have more fish in this tank without overstocking as it's a pretty large tank?

I was thinking maybe to double up on Leleupi + brevis and/or add even a couple of smaller malawis?

The tanks nearly been finished i'm just stacking the rocks and fixing them, it'll have tons of caves/rock areas and of course shells for the shellies!

Help meeee please guys :)

Ok, that's a about 50 usg. I have to convert it help you :)

Leleupi should no be kept with Brevis
"They should not be kept with most shell dwellers, as they have a habit of sticking their faces in the shells to suck out the brood. They've been known to (fatally) pull female shell dwellers out of the shells to achieve this."

Despite that one combination, I think the rest might work. My main area is malawi mbuna so I had to look all the tang species up to compare them with eachother.
I don't know about stocking levels b/c I'm well versed in stocking triangular aquariums. The widest part is less than 4 feet, which is usually the minium length recommended. Hopefully someone else can come along and give us some more advice :good:

Yer thanks for that, i chose this tank because of it's large footprint in terms of length and width as opposed to rectangular tanks with just a large length. But yer thanks again, hope others can help me too :)

Like malawis you can stock the tank heavilly to water down aggresion i've done it and i've seen others do it too.
