i'm thinking of ordering this testing kit

i'm not looking to spend too much on it, lfs tried to charge me £40.00 but thats way too much out of my league.

is this one any good?

It depends what you are looking for in a test kit. This kit is good for the amateur aquarist who wants to know the condition of his basic water chemistry. If you are looking for something more in-depth and meaningful then this will be the case of you pays your money and takes your chance. i have always relied on testing kits from Interpet, but Tetra are a good brand also.

yea zeo ordered me one too, also how much is a good price for a better testing kit? what other things do we need to test for?

Tetra = bad. If i woulda read this earlier i would have advised against it. I had a tetra kit at one time and there are so many out there that are easier to use.

yea i know, the booklet was a lil more then vage, but its cheaper the others i've seen and at this mo in time its ok.

maybe in the future i'll get a better (more expensive) one. but for the time being its ok.
