L260 Queen Arabesque Pleco On Endangered List?

I was talking to the guys at my lfs yesterday and it was mentioned that the L260 is on the endangered list, shame as they look like lovely plecs and I was hoping to get one for my tank

With them being on the endangered list, does it mean that there isn`t likely to be many around at all or is it that they`re numbers are dwindling but only in the wild?

I would love to be able to get one but I`m not sure that if I could get one that I would be contributing to the numbers dying out, I`d feel really awful then

According to planet catfish they have been bred in aquariums so you might be able to get some tank bred ones.

Thanks kizno, I can`t seem to find any sellers of the Queen Arabesque at all

Looks like it`s gonna be a while before I can get one.

You could look out for L270 They in the same family and look fairly similar and a bit more common but they do cost a fair amount. Or L340 ive seen quite a few around here for about £15.
