krill for puffer?

can freeze dried krill help wear down my puffer's beak as well as snails?

not sure what your freeze dried krill is like, but the stuff i bought wouldn't wear down mashed potatoes............

that and it floats (though i wonder if its soaked for a period prior if it will sink some....)....... anywho, being that it floats, my puffers ignored it completely........

snails or other hard shelled critters (like live feed shrimps) are your best bet

oh thanx. i wasnt really sure. oh and he didnt look twice at them first but then i wiggled them and the fact that the filter pushes it aound on the surface my puffer now goes wild for them. i dont feed them too much though cause i question their nutritional value and balance.
