Hi all ive got two kribs one male and one female. I'm assuming they have paired as they follow each other around. The female is about 2 inches and the male is nearly the same if not a bit bigger. The female has the red belly, but I'm seeing no signs of breeding. I do have another female she's about 4 inches, but I dont want to unpair them if they have already paired.

If the male is two inches i suspect he is not yet mature. Also the female sounds a wee bit small.

Lovely tank! Just a little observation...your java fern will eventually die if you keep their roots buried, best way is to tie them onto wood and rocks with their roots above the gravel 👍🏻

Leave the kribs to it, they will breed eventually! The male will have a bit of growing to do but if they're paired up they'll get on with it sooner or later 😁

You can bury the java fern 'roots' just don't bury the rhizome. The rhizome is the part the leaves connect to.
