i have set up a 15gallon kribensis breeding tank. I have one adult male krib and one adult female who succesful bred and raised strong fry. I noticed that all inhabitants in the tank even the fry are active except for the male krib who just stays still, opening and closing its mouth frequently and to the point of hyperventilation similar to the action in a human interpretation. I will try and add some oxygen to the tank to see if it helps but am very sure oxygen is not a problem since the female and fry are all active and eating normally...At some feeds, the male ignores the food...could this be an internal parasite and if so is there anything i could do to help it??? Thanks for any replies.

Water stats would be good.
Yes bacterial to parasite.
Any flicking and rubbing.
Check the gills over to see if there red and inflamed, or pale with excess mucas on them.
Has the fish lost weight or bloated up.
