I was given two huge bags by friends who have medium hard water and get buckets of it. Here, it vanished, only to start reappearing now, deeply attached to drifwood far from where I'd put it. So some of it has adapted to my soft water, but it is interesting as well as attractive.

I have 3 “cup portions” coming this week… depending on the actual size and how it looks, it may all go in the hillstream tank described. which is cool soft water, but I may try some in one of my other tanks…
