tiger barbs are known to be very nippy. gouramis have those little long thingies below their head, which can easily be nipped off. i wouldnt recommend it. it could work out, so if you do it, be careful. if the gouramis thingiemabobs are getting nipped, then seperate them.

So if you have at leat 12-15 tiger barbs and your tank is big enough for a kissing gourami, then probably worth trying..

Yeah agreed. If you get lots of Tiger Barbs, then your gourami should be fine.
