So I have had this blue ram about 2 months ago and he's gone afther just about every fish I'm my tank I know its not because of a lack of hiding places so what can it be?

I got him and another male ram at the same time . When I got him he was the smaller of the 2 and now he's the same size manybe even bigger . I'm afraid that this killer ram might kill my timid ram

You sure their 2 males and not a pair? The male maybe wanting to breed so hus aggression levels have risen slightly, or hes on the offensive because the other is a sub dom male.

Well I'm pretty sure there both males ???? What is a sub dom male ??

Sub dominant male (Lower in the pecking order from the dominant male) Do you have any pics of them? Should be able to sex them and see what you got :good:

I do but I'm in the us and need some sleep lol. Ill post them in the morning :)

I think you may have 2 females, i can see that the dominant one has blue dots around the black spots on its side but it has the larger extended ray on its dorsal fin which usually means its a male.. The large sub-dominant one is definitely a female but the dominant one im not a 100% could be a female to.

Does the dominant fish constantly harass the larger one?

I think you may need to remove the one been chased as he/she may kill her. They do sometimes show aggression when breeding but not to the extent of constantly chasing the other. Does the one in the pic defend that coconut a lot??

At times but no not a lot . Right now its in there with my cory fish.

Ok, I don't think its breeding 'harassment' then, just aggression towards the larger ram. Removing it would be the best option or if you want any breeding then buying another 4 to see if any pair off then remove the existing rams will be the best way.

#40## ok :(do you think if i take her out the dom fish will leave the rest of my fish (my angle ) alone?

thank you for all your help!!!
