hi all my kids tank (35ltr) is up and running but no fish yet (fishless cycle). Now they want some bubbles in it. Only problem is there is not enough sockets for a airpump as it is on a 4 plug surge extension. Can you get a filter/bubbler that runs on air?if so what type do you suggest? The tank is only going to have maybe 4 platys or guppies. thanks for your advice and time replying- brian

Hmm.

You need socket for lights, filter, heater . . . surely that leaves you one socket left over?

If not, you could move the media from your filter into an air-powered filter and get an air-pump with two outlets, allowing you to run a bubbler and a filter.

Other than that, not sure what you could do.

Why not just get a bigger surge protector that has more plugs! Or use to two, on my 150 I have two because I got two heaters two lights and two filters. plus my heater cords are not that long.
