Kids 2ft Goldfish Tank.

Well i am not to sure at the moment as not sure when goldies stop growing, as the first keeper said they have not grown in a couple of years and they about 7 years old?

Unfortunately, goldfish are one of the fish that 'stunt'. That is, they probably wont grow at all any more in that tank, but that's not really a good thing.

Goldfish are a pretty abused species, if it was any other similar sized cyprinid species in that tank, you would be receiving a lot of flaming.

However they are evidently in a much better home than before, and are extremely lucky goldfish compared to the millions that go to completely inadequate homes each day .

what are the white markings on the side of the comet at the front of the first pic?

thats not a comet, they are both common.
