Khuli Loaches

I have two tanks with "khuli" loaches(not the striped ones unfortunately). In the one tank at certain times of the day they swim in circles near the top, usually in the morning and afternoon. It looks really cool but is this normal behavior?

Yeah that's normal, it could mean any number of things really. It could be stress, happiness or breeding. Mine do it late at night when all the lights are off.
