iv got 2 keyhole cichlids and they never seem to swim together if i get 2 more is ther emore chanc eof 2 of them pairin off, one of them doeshave 'rounder' lookin fins so i tuk that as been the female

Yes the more young fish you get the better your chance of getting a paire is. Only when they are mature can you go by the fins but in young fish the fins look very simular. My male keyhole is big and has long fins is dorsal is pointed and goes almost past his tail. He looks like a stud.

thanks, iv got four now..... and 3 of them have the same lookinfins and one has a slightly squarer tail fin

With 4 you have a good chance of getting a pair. I got a pair of blue acaras out of just 3 fish I has 2 males one female. Good luck hope it works out they are great fish I love mine.

also...iv noticed that 3 of them, the keyhole is big and black and theres a nother big black line on there head and theyve changed to a golden, brown colour on there head
