Keyhole Cichlid Advice

Well I have two Keyholes at the moment, I am having a really hard time trying to distinguish there gender if only they had bristles haha

anyway one of them is almost double the size of the other, and when they eat (they usually eat together) the big one like just taps the little one on the stomach and it gets all flustered and tilts on its side. Then it just turns around and is normal again.

should I be worried?

The larger fish is usually the male. Does the smaller fish have a nicely rounded belly compared to the larger fish? Males tend to have a flatish underside wheras the females have a more rounded belly.

There are plenty of pictures in this forum if you use the search function - or you could google some images.

regarding the movements, sounds like the male is trying to get the female as his girlfriend. *wink wink*. They will Shimmer their bodies in a flirting movement.

yeh i searched the forum and the way they said to distinguish is the anal fin, but they both look very similar.

The larger one has a round belly only because he is huge haha, but I think the smaller one is a female

naww they are in love (or the male is) haha.

also these cichlids are quite peaceful,so shouldnt worry to much, if it becomes aggressive then worry
