My trip to Tacoma paid off.

So, the tank is a divided 2.5 G (1.25 gallons each.. lil small, but I worry about how warm it will be in two individual tanks) what tail type are they? I believe they're spawn sisters. On the right is Mary and on the left is Kari.
I got back about an hour ago but I was fawning over the two babies my platies had while I was in Tacoma. hah... for once my brother didn't kill anything!
Since the bioload is gonna be big in this tank, I'm gonna change 50% every other day until I'm absolutely sure they'll be okay. Larry's finally stabilized and now I'm cleaning twice weekly.

Hokay, here are some pictures:

She didn't look at all like the other VTs, delta is an option... the extended rays are a bit like a VT but I dunno.

Yeah, I think now she's just a good specimen of a female VT.

there both males in my opinion they both flared like males because they had a bigger flare.There plakat males.

Hmm, thats a hard one... Im thinking male too, they dont seem to have the big rounded bellys like females, but then they dont have that all the time...
Can you get a pic of them flaring? Do they have an ovipostor?

Wish I could be of more help! They are both very pretty though, very vibrant!

She doesn't stay still for a flare. I'm 99.9% sure she's not a male, but she could be a female plakat, a female delta or a female VT. Let's compare.

Thing that irks me is the anal fins are seemingly too long for a VT, sort of like my halfmoon female that I had. But the tail curves in a circular motion, like a VT and a plakat. Off to check rays.
