hello this is my 1st post , but have been looking around the forum for a long time now :good:

the thing is my Juwel rio 240 sitting on the juwel stand i have had over a year now ,

is it right for the juwel tanks to be supported by the two ends of the tank (about 6" each end)

by this i mean i can slide a sheet of paper in at the middle between the tank & stand and move it up and down till 6" from each end

there is no support at all in the middle

i am in the middle of changing this tank to a malawi cichlid setup so will be loading it up with rock (scary)

i was told it was ok but i just want to hear more people saying it

please let me know what you's think

thank you & super forum :good:

Not safe at all IMO,

has the tank ever had any water damage? Has the holding piece of the stand warped?
Whats the support like on the stand? screws still all tightly fitted etc.?

Edit:just checked my 240 and i can't get a sheet of paper to go more than a few mm under the tank.

hello m8

no water damage just maybe a bit from running down the face of the tank when doing water change's (not much)

and it all feels solid, no moving it like

looks like a full rip down then to reset the stand ...thats what i would call hard work

thank you m8
