Juwel Reflectors....

Hi there im trying to work out the watts per gallon in my tank. I have a juwel rekord 120 which actually holds 80-90 litres of water. I replaced the original flat white reflector with a juwel 35.5" 30w reflector. I have one 30w powerglo tube in the tank.

Now my question is this, as the reflector is called a 30w reflector does it increase the light output by double or does it just mean that the reflector is suitable for a 30w tube?

This may sound like a really stupid question, sorry if it does

it means suitable for upto 30W tubes

as to weather or not reflectors double the light output is debatable, it does however reflect most of the light from the top
part of the tube downwards and thus increases the light penitrating the water.
